According to the newspaper, “He gets up leisurely, breakfasts comfortably, reads the paper regularly, dresses fashionably, eats a tart gravely, talk insipidly, dines considerably, drinks superfluously, kills time indifferently, sups elegantly, goes to bed stupidly and lives uselessly.”
